Can workers comp make me take a certain type of job? (Richmond, VA)?

I was a deputy and was injured during training due to negligence. I am currently on Workers Comp. I have a part time job and am seeking other employment. Before becoming a deputy I worked in an office...my resume only shows office jobs. Can they make me take a job in retail (Walmart, Kamart)?
In other words, can they terminate my benefits? Thanks

They can't force you to, if that's what you're asking.

Your benefits can be terminated for a number of reasons: such as your doctor says you are MMI (maximum medical improvement, meaning you're done with treatment), you were given a return to work note from your doctor, etc. My questions to you are: what does your doctor say in regards to your treatment, and do you have a worker's comp lawyer?
